How it works.

  1. Heavy-gauge steel.

A galvanized steel skin over an insulated core, pre-hung in a new frame.

  2. It should swing easily.

We shim the frame until the door stays wherever you leave it.

  3. It closes with a solid thunk.

The weatherstrip meets the door all the way around, and the latch lines up without you having to lift the door.

  4. From outside.

We fit the trim to your house, whether it's siding, brick, shake or stone.

What's inside the door.

Steel entry questions.

Is steel more secure than fiberglass or wood?

Steel gives you the most security per dollar. Your frame and locks matter too, so we look at the whole unit.

Will it rust near the lake?

The galvanized skin resists corrosion. Keep the paint in good shape and it holds up well.

When do I need fire-rated?

Most often for a door between an attached garage and the house. We'll tell you what your opening calls for.

Can I add glass?

Yes: decorative glass in the door, plus sidelites and transoms around it.

Let’s look at your windows.

Free in-home estimate. Exact measurements and a written price. No pressure.
