Each window is the same width and set at a slight angle to the next one.
Open the ends.
Any of them can open or stay fixed. Most people open the ends.
A wider view than a bay.
A bow takes in more of the shoreline or the street than a bay does.

Bow windows

Bow questions.
How many windows do I need in a bow?
Usually four to six, depending on the width of the wall. We'll sketch it at your free measure.
Do all of them open?
They can, but most people open the end units and leave the center ones fixed.
Bow or bay for a lake view?
A bow usually, since the curve takes in a wider sweep with less interruption.
Does a bow add floor space?
It adds some, and usually less depth than a bay, but over a wider area.
