It seals tight when it's closed.
Locking it presses the sash against the weatherstrip on the frame.
Turn the crank.
A small crank swings the sash out on its hinges. There's nothing to lift, so it works well over counters and in hard-to-reach spots.
The whole pane opens.
It opens completely, so it catches any breeze moving along the house. The full screen is on the inside.
From outside.
We fit the trim to your house, whether it's siding, brick, shake or stone.
Casement windows
Hinged at the side and opened with a crank, casements catch the breeze and seal tighter than any sliding window when closed.

How it works.
What's in the window.
Your furnace's heat hits the coating and bounces back into the room.

Where it works best.
Kitchens
Reach a crank over the counter instead of lifting a sash.
Stairwells
Works in spots where you can't get leverage on a sliding sash.
Beside a picture window
Gets you the big view plus air on both sides.
Breezy rooms
A sash that opens fully catches air other windows miss.

1. We measure
We spend about an hour at your house, measure every opening, show you samples and give you a written price.

2. We build
We custom-make your windows to those measurements, which usually takes a few weeks. We'll give you a date when you order.

3. We install
Our own crew does the work. They cover your floors and furniture first, then square, seal and trim every unit.

4. We clean up
We haul away the old units and leave the house as we found it. Most homes are finished in a single day.

Casement questions.
Why do you recommend pairs?
A pair looks balanced from inside and out, and the two sashes can be set to pull breeze through the room.
Why does a casement seal better than a slider?
When locked, the sash pulls tight against the frame's weatherstrip instead of sliding past it.
Where does the screen go?
On the inside, since the sash opens outward.
What's the difference between a casement and an awning?
Same materials and crank. A casement hinges on the side; an awning hinges along the top.
